30 Seconds To Mars Officially Announce Australian Tour For August 2013

30 Seconds To Mars have finally made the announcement that their Australian fans have been anticipating for some time now – after earlier confirming they would be in town at some point this year, the band have now locked in their return Down Under for August, bringing along their new album Love Lust Faith + Dreams.

For those who have been paying attention, the August time frame shouldn’t be too much of a surprise given frontman Jared Leto‘s cheeky mention of the date in a previous interview while Leto was in town back in March doing the press rounds in support of the new record, which is due for release Australia-wide tomorrow, Friday, 17th May.

A serious amount of effort has been put into the album so far and, judging from our chat with Jared Leto himself, we can expect an out-of-this world experience.

When we last saw the band, they were part of the Soundwave 2011 madness and, prior to that, they were part of a previous headlining run back in 2010. This, however, will be the first run of arena shows and more space for the dynamic trio to unleash within can only be a good thing.

Tickets on sale 9am local time, Monday, 27th May
