A$AP Rocky Samples A ’90s Moby Track In His Latest Song ‘A$AP Forever’

A$AP Rocky has dropped a new single ‘A$AP Forever’ featuring a very unlikely sample.

He’s used parts of Moby‘s 1999 record ‘Porcelain’ for the song, taking it into the rap world. It starts off subtle but if you stick around until the end of the track that’s when you get the most explicit use.

Rocky is no stranger to sampling songs outside of his genre. His last album featured a sample of Australian band Python Lee Jackson’s 1970 single ‘In A Broken Dream’ on the song ‘Everyday’ and he’s even sampled fellow Aussie artist KUÇKA.

This latest song is said to be taken from a new project titled ‘Testing’. In the past few weeks he’s been dropping new music at a rapid pace giving us cuts like ‘Bad Company’ and ‘Cocky’.

Straight off the back of this latest release, he took to The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon to perform the song plus another new track ‘Distorted Records’.

No word on when this new album will drop but it will be his first since 2015’s At.Long.Last.A$AP.
