AC/DC are up to something. The Aussie rock legends have just fired up a mysterious countdown clock over on their official website… ticking down to what we can only assume is some kind of big announcement.
Captioned “ARE YOU READY” and soundtracked by the band’s 1991 single of the same name, the timer is set to hit zero this Monday night at 7pm AEDT.

Many internet sleuths have deduced that the imminent revelation will involve some form of tour dates, largely thanks to a German mayor who last year accidentally spilled the beans on Acca Dacca’s plans to play a show in Munich in 2024.
Mayor of Munich Dieter Reiter blew the surprise when he let the news slip that the rock legends will be playing at Munich’s Olympiastadion on Wednesday, 12th June 2024, during a public council meeting and within full earshot of a reporter from local paper Bayerischer Rundfunk.
According to the UK’s Planet Radio, Rieter confessed after the fact that he “didn’t know it was supposed to be a secret”.
The hypothetical gig, which tbh is now looking more and more likely, would mark AC/DC’s first on European soil since 2016, back when Axl Rose was fronting the band. They haven’t played in Europe with Brian Johnson since 2015.
The Aussie icons made their highly-anticipated live comeback headlining the US’s massive Power Trip festival last year.
