A snippet of a previously unheard Adele single, ‘Hold On’, has featured in Amazon’s new holiday advertisement. The single is set to feature on her forthcoming record 30.
‘Hold On’ is the second track we’re heard from her highly-anticipated upcoming album 30. It follows ‘Easy On Me’, which marked the singer’s return to music in mid-October. Her fourth album is due to drop next Friday, 19th November.
Amazon’s advertisement focuses on how acts of kindness can have a big impact, detailing the story of a young woman with anxiety due to the pandemic. She meets her older neighbour in the hallway who seems to notice the girl’s anxiety, and a wholesome story of kindness unfolds in the space of just two and a half minutes.
