AJ Maddah Weighs In On Falls Festival Relocation

AJ Maddah has thrown his two cents in following the Falls Festival relocation yesterday. The festival was moved from Lorne to Mount Duneed Estate after emergency services declared the original site was unsafe due to a large bushfire burning close by.

Maddah tweeted his support for festival organisers saying “Best wishes and love to the folks at The Falls Festival. An enormous challenge but one they are very capable of meeting”.

He went on to outline some of the challenges organisers might face moving to the new site. “One site is set up to deal with 18000 people. New site is set up for 6000. A lot of work is needed in a short time…Also rostering of emergency services at the new location will be a pain as bureaucracy moves slow and wants 100 meetings”

Falls Festival kicks off tomorrow in Victoria, Marion Bay on Tuesday and the Byron Bay leg of the festival starts on Thursday.
