Alison Wonderland Announces Last Headline Shows For 2014

Alison Wonderland has announced a series of very special one-night-only shows for Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth. Coming off the back of the DJ and producer’s current tour and her latest single, Lies, these shows will be her last headline performances for the remainder of 2014.

Music Feeds caught up with Alison last month, ahead of her Rural Juror Touror, to discuss, among other things, sexist interviewers. The DJ recounted one experience with an inadvertently sexist journo, whose conscience later saw him penning Alison an apology note for his uncouth behaviour.

“He wasn’t being rude, and I was awkwardly laughing because I don’t think he realised how sexist he was being. He actually sent me an apology later, so all is forgiven. I don’t appreciate people talking to me like that, especially if they are doing it in an interview,” the multi-talented muso told us. “Fuck that shit, there is way more to me than wondering how you can take me on a date.”
