“The Young Renegades are no more…” the band posted on social media, announcing the dawn of their new era.
“Reintroducing your favorite disaster, All Time Low. We took a step away for a minute- did some growing, did some soul searching, some healing… Now we’re back and ready to be all yours again, our battle scars worn proudly, and our hair looking better than ever. (it’s best if you just agree).”
Their post continues: “We’ve missed you all so much and we’re so excited for what comes next. Feels like we’ve been keeping secrets from you for way too long… Been hard to keep our mouths shut, honestly.
It’s a song and dance we’ve done a thousand times before, but this one feels extra-good. Besides, it’s never the same dance twice. Hope you dig this new song as much as we do… After all, it’s all for you.”
And dig it we do. The song has only just landed online and already the fandom is exploding with FEELS at this uplifting and highly singalong-able new slice of pop rock goodness, and the reaction is VERY positive:
Some Kind of Disaster is the return single every band who has ever taken a break wishes they put out. The love, growth, falling back, and pushing ahead are palpable. All Time Low is rock excellence, and they've evolved into whatever the world needs at every turn. I'm so proud.

New All Time Low single has me feeling nostalgic and remembering the time I discovered them years ago and fell in love with their music

TBH, this feels like ATL all grown up. It’s still the band we know and love but there’s something a bit more, i dunno, mature about the songwriting?
Anyway, you can check it out for yourself below!
In the meantime, things are looking good for an ATL Australian tour this year! Ya girl chatted to frontman Alex Gaskarth back in December and he reckons the band are firing up their touring machine in 2020 and are hoping to tour Australia.
