Are Pearl Jam About To Announce A New Australian Tour?

It looks a WHOLE lot like Pearl Jam are gearing up to announce their first Australian tour in over a decade…

The grunge icons took over Sydney’s Bondi Beach on Sunday (February 11th) with a world-first art installation. A makeshift a “Pearl Jam Lane” walkway has been erected from the start of the intersection of Campbell Parade and Hall St and stretching down to the beachfront at Australia’s most famous surf spot.

“MJR GLOBAL ANNOUNCEMENT NEXT WEEK”

We’re told the activation, which will still be in tact for fans to check out for the remainder of today, also features a custom traffic light pole that you can push to hear a snippet of new Pearl Jam music (possibly produced by Justin Bieber’s producer?), as well as a giant 10m LED on the back of a truck splashed with custom Pearl Jam visuals.

Juggernaut tour promoters Live Nation spilled the beans on the Pearl Jam pop-up in advance, also teasing a “MJR GLOBAL ANNOUNCEMENT NEXT WEEK”.

It would appear as if 2024 is shaping up to be a big year for Pearl Jam fans, with new music and a fresh Aussie tour announcement looking increasingly imminent.

We’ll bring you more info as soon as it drops.
