I’ll Be Your Mirror, curated by All Tomorrow’s Parties and The Drones, have announced a whole heap of new acts. With a tagline of ‘ultimate mix tape’ you can always expect the unexpected when it comes to ATP.
Joining the Saturday lineup, curated by ATP, is Australian composer Oren Ambarchi along with other local talent, including Ben Frost, Civil Civic, New War and Strangers From Now On . While on the Sunday, The Drones have invited along My Disco, whose live shows have long been praised, and the skilful Dan Kelly with his Dream Band.
Also joining the Sunday lineup are Pere Ubu performing ‘The Modern Dance’, Crime and the City Solution, Kev Carmody, The Stickmen and Don Walker.
The special Australian event is taking place at The Westgate Entertainment Centre and Grand Star Receptions. Both venues exist within the one complex in Altona, which is located a mere 13km away from the centre of Melbourne.
I’ll Be Your Mirror will take place over two days, with ATP putting together the bill on Saturday, February 16 and The Drones handling the lineup for Sunday, February 17.
