Already with a worthy assembly of artists set to perform at their Release The Bats Halloween party, the cats behind All Tomorrow’s Parties have injected even more awesomeness into the event, bringing three new acts into the fold.
The first of the new additions for today are New York rockers Television who are presently enjoying a new lease on life having been resurrected by the indie powers that be. For this particular event, the band will be performing their outstanding album Marquee Moon in its entirety.
Next to be added to the line-up is 21-year-old wonder Alec Koone, who, performing under the moniker of Balam Acab, has shown levels of talent yet to be explored by musicians 3 times her age. Pricking up all the right ears with the debut full-length effort WANDER/WONDER, Balam Acab used the release as an opportunity to show the mystical world she inhabits, much to the delight of those of us in this boring old world.
Rowland S. Howard Tribute Band will be bringing more Aussie flavour to the table, of course paying tribute to the great Rowland S. Howard via a collection of friends, family and collaborators from his past all working together to remind us of the good times.
Tickets to the madness are on sale now through the ATP website so don’t be ‘that guy’ left hanging this Halloween.
