Attila Frontman Lashes Out After Accusations Of Homophobia

Rather than following the standard damage control plan of issuing an apology, Attila frontman Chris ‘Fronz’ Fronzak has gone the total opposite direction and lashed out at those who have slammed the vocalist for his use of the word ‘faggot’.

The word was used to build up the lyrics of the track Callout. Featured on Attila’s latest album About This Life, the track actually condemns those who oppose same-sex couples. The song was so liberal it put the band on the Westboro Baptist Church’s radar, who even picketed against the band at a performance in Kansas, but it’s the fact that Fronz casually drops the F bomb in the track that has managed to piss off the rest of the community.

It didn’t take long for claims of homophobia to reach the band, but Fronz seemed more interested in defending his use of the word than excusing it. Labeling those who were offended as “silly faggots”, instructing them to “suck my fuck” before the good old “I do what I want” spiel.

In the past, the band has touched on an array of contentious subjects including drug use and violence. As you’d imagine, the Twittersphere has exploded with hate against Fronz in the aftermath of this latest incident but, considering how much this band gets off on controversy, this will only serve to fuel his ego.
