After make its debut in 2017, Victoria’s Babylon Festival is set to return bigger and better next year, with organisers today dropping the first bunch of acts for their 2018 event.
Veteran US house DJ and producer Carl Cox will go around again next year, and he’s set to be joined by French legend Laurent Garnier, who’ll make his first trip down under in close to a decade.
The first round announcement also sees Agents Of Time, Burn in Noise, Freedom Fighters, Derrick Carter, Opiou, Deborah De Luca and stacks more fill out a bill that’s already emerging as one of the most expansive of 2018.
Babylon 2018 will take place from Friday, 23rd to Sunday, 25th February in a new location, in the central west Victorian location of Carapooee.
The festival made waves last year with their unique offer of a free drink for anyone willing to fill up a biodegradable cup with cigarette butts and return it to the bar.
