In a week when doom and gloom is dominating the headlines, here’s some news that might put you in a good mood!
Ball Park Music are back with their first new music since 2018 album Good Mood.
More specifically, they’ve dropped a short musical teaser that contains a snippet of some fresh new beats
In classic BPM style, the cryptic teaser sees the band standing in a garden, before being struck by (poorly animated) lightning.
They disappear, only to be replaced by a bass drum that says ‘Spark Up’ on it.
Finally, a date – 19/03/2020 – is revealed in big white text across the screen.
The musical teaser is the latest in a series of clues that we should be expecting new music from Ball Park, who last weekend came in triple j’s Hottest 100 of the Decade at #17 with their 2011 track ‘It’s Nice To Be Alive’
Last week billboards popped up around Brisbane with the same ‘Spark Up’ drum and dates on them.
Earlier in March, the band tweeted; “The next three weeks are so significant on the Ball Park Music timeline”.
