Beyoncé Posts Message Of Support For Meghan Markle After Oprah Interview

Look, there’s been a LOT buzz on the internet since Meghan Markle, the Dutchess of Sussex and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah aired on CBS over the weekend. The bombshell interview allowed the Dutchess and the Prince to go into detail about why they left their royal posts in favour of life in the US.

There were a few key takings from the interview, including Markle alleging that she was having suicidal thoughts and asked the Palace for help, but was turned away. They also said that a person in the royal family had expressed concerns to Harry about the skin colour of the couple’s first-born child (yikes).

Now, Beyoncé has posted on her website a message of support for her friend Meghan Markle.

“Thank you Meghan for your courage and leadership,” the statement reads. “We are all strengthened and inspired by you.”

The caption was posted next to a photo them meeting for the first time at the London premiere of The Lion King in 2019.
