As if the upcoming instalment of the New Years-straddling Beyond The Valley music festival wasn’t looking epic enough already, organisers have gone and added over a dozen more beyond-exciting artists to the lineup.
We’re talking ’80s style glam pop force Client Liaison. We’re talking London grime slinger Skepta. We’re talking Melbourne indie rock champs Kingswood. We’re talking Sydney super-DJ Hayden James. We’re talking Central Coast singer-songwriter E^ST. And we’re talking Sam Feldt, Anna Lunoe, Oliver Dollar, Benson, Porsches, Broadway Sounds, Nico Ghost, Running Touch, Feki and Dividem.
They join previously-announced acts Jamie xx, Flight Facilities, Tkay Maidza, The Jungle Giants, Last Dinosaurs, Miami Horror, The Rubens and stacks more on the blockbuster bill.
Now in its second year, Beyond The Valley is heading to its new home in the Gippsland Parklands, roughly 90 minutes east of Melbourne. The new site, which organisers say will play host “for 2015 and beyond”, consists of green fields scattered around a lake, with rolling hills in the distance.
Once again spread across two stages, Beyond The Valley 2015/2016 will see campers enjoy excellent tunes as well as a diverse range of gourmet food options, from food-trucks to boutique beer and cocktail bars.
Beyond The Valley 2015/2016 will run over three days across New Year’s, from 29th December to 1st January.
