Recent changes to the inaugural Beyond The Valley Festival lineup seem to have in no way affected ticket sales, with organisers of the New Year’s Eve festival announcing today the addition of an extra date to their event in order to keep up with demand as well as some final release tickets.
The festival gates will now open a day early on Monday 29th December to allow punters the opportunity to beat the traffic and pick the very best spot to set up camp on the site, with a soundtrack provided by local DJs, ensuring they get the most out of their Phillip Island experience before the official festival kicks off on December 30th.
Those wanting to utilise this extra day will have to purchase a $30 “early settlers” pass and those who have already purchased a luxury camping package will get the upgrade included free of charge. The limited early passes will be available from noon tomorrow, Friday 12th December.
Playing the inaugural 2014 festival will be AlunaGeorge, Danny Brown, Hermitude, Indian Summer, Holy Holy, D.D. Dumbo, Allday, Pond, The Preatures and many more. Sydney’s hip hop supergroup One Day joined the lineup recently, replacing former headliner Action Bronson, while Canberra EDM outfit The Aston Shuffle stepped up to the plate to fill the void left by Canadian producer Sinjin Hawke, who dropped out due to recording commitments.
