A new music-based web series is throwing a Chrissy party fundraiser in Sydney next week, and you’re invited, m8s.
Lock In‘s end of year bash is going down at Darlinghurst’s Club 77 next Friday, 15th December from 9pm, with profits to be donated towards producing the series’ next season.
Bluejuice legend Jake Stone and frontman of Sydney glam rockers The Art, Azaria Byrne, will be spinning tunes all evening, while organisers are promising a “controversial” live performance from some secret guests.
Directed and produced by Simon J. Heath (Recovery, National Geographic) in partnership with Hayden Anderson & music video heavyweights Tribal Apes and powered by Young Henrys brews, Lock In is a raw, real look at Sydney’s underground music & arts culture, featuring a revolving cast of musicians, porn stars, supermodels, sports stars and more.
You can find out more info via the official Facebook page here, or else check out some of the show’s quirky segments — featuring Jake Stone receiving relationship counselling from Aussie acting legend Simon Westaway, and rugby league great Willy Mason dishing on his favourite hip-hop tracks — below.
