New Music Series Starring Bluejuice’s Jake Stone To Premiere In Sydney Tonight

In a city where lock-outs are all the rage, a bunch of music diehards have decided to throw a lock-in.

Bluejuice frontman Jake Stone heads up a group of Sydney musos and culture vultures hosting a brand new music-based web series, executive produced by Recovery‘s Simon Heath, which is getting a premiere at Newtown’s Dendy Cinema tonight from 8pm.

Dubbed ‘Lock In’, the new grassroots web series, powered by Young Henry’s brews, is packed with live music, celebrity guests and wall-to-wall shit-talking going down inside one of Sydney’s most-frothed live music dive bars (but you’ll have to figure out which one).

Tonight’s premiere will serve up a highlight reel of all the best bits from the show’s yet-to-be-aired first season, featuring segments with porn stars, supermodels, Rugby League greats as well as live performances and chats with some of the nation’s most fire acts like Ocean Grove, Lime Cordiale, The Dead Love and Andy Golledge.

“They haven’t let us watch it yet so we have no idea what to expect,” Stone confesses. “Particularly because our recollections of the whole filming experience are a bit hazy.

“It’s basically just a bunch of very good looking people and some even better-looking guests chatting about sex, music and just generally stumbling upon the kind of life-changing revelations that only happen when you’re drunk at 3am at a bar with mates or total strangers.”

“We’ll all be getting on the pinot gris at the premiere at The Dendy tonight, followed by the official afterparty at Frankies Pizza By The Slice, so feel free to come hang if you’re around town.”
