After *finally* being able to pull off its first full festival edition since before the pandemic, Bluesfest Byron Bay has confirmed its return for 2023.
Taking place at the Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm, the event is a staple for many music fans over Easter Weekend. 2022 saw the return of the festival – even though weather threatened to impose – with a line up of Australian and international artists including Midnight Oil, Morcheeba, Crowded House, George Benson and more performing across the long weekend.
Currently, Bluesfest holds the #1 spot on Pollstar’s Global Live Box Office Reports for the highest grossing worldwide sales this week (starting May 16th). Over 100,000 punters streamed through the gates at Bluesfest this year, so perhaps it’s unsurprising that when the festival did finally make its come back, it came back strong.
Bluesfest this week has confirmed its dates for next year, locking in Thursday 6 April through Monday 10 April 2023 as their next run. The first artist announcement for 2023 is ‘only a few months away’.
