Currently in Australia for Vivid LIVE and his first Australian headlining shows, the legendary Bobby Womack has announced that he will be unable to perform his show set to take place tonight (Friday, 24th May) at the Sydney Opera House, due to unspecified health concerns.
The show for tomorrow, Saturday, 25th May at the same venue is still scheduled to go ahead as planned. The venue has since tweeted about the update, encouraging people to rebook for tomorrow’s event and have given details about how to do so. Full refunds are available to those unable to make the change.
At age 69, it’s completely understandable that health issues may have arisen during the tour. Music Feeds wishes Bobby a speedy recovery. Read the full statement below and stay tuned for updates.
