What goes together likes sharks and tornadoes? Dead ’90s boy bands and zombies, of course!
In an amazing cultural moment, the creators of Sharknado have released the trailer for the highly-anticipated zombie Western flick starring members of defunct 90s boy bands including NSYNC, Backstreet Boys and 98 Degrees.
Among the stars of Dead 7 are Nick Carter, A.J. McLean and Howie Dorough of the Backstreet Boys, Joey Fatone from NSYNC, Jeff Timmons of 98 Degrees and guys from some band called O-Town. Backstreet Boy and ex-teen idol Nick Carter is the producer of the movie.
If we can judge a movie by its trailer, this one will be a C to D grade cheese-fest with slightly sexist moments and a whole lotta terrible lines. “In the wild west, to fight the undead, you have to resurrect… 90’s boybands.” … I don’t know what we expected.
Dead 7 will predictibly go straight to television on 1st April.
