Brace Yourselves 1D Fans, Niall Horan Is Coming To Australia Next Month

UPDATE: Niall Horan Announces 2018 Australian Tour

UPDATE: Niall Horan has now announced his first-ever Australian headline show.

ORIGINAL STORY: In news that comes drowned out by the fevered squeals of One Direction fangirls and boys across the nation, Niall Horan is coming to Australia next month for a whirlwind promo tour.

Sorry kids, the boyband graduate won’t be playing any shows (at least, none that have been announced yet), but he’ll be talking up his forthcoming debut solo album which is due out later this year (and has thus far birthed two chart-smashing singles AKA ‘Slow Hands’ and ‘This Town’).

“It’s a country that’s very close to my heart,” the Irish dreamboat reveals. “I’ve had some of my favourite memories of my life in Australia. I can’t wait to get back down and see you all.”

While he’s in the neighbourhood, Horan will also be appearing on the grand finale of Nine’s The Voice so strap in for that fucking thriller.

The news may be too much for 1D fans’ hearts to handle after fellow boyband alumnus Harry Styles announced he was also headed to our shores for a small tour this November followed by an even bigger one in 2018.

And at the risk of giving y’all a coronary, the chances of Horan coming back to tour around that time — after he officially announces his new album — are also pretty damn high.

In the meantime, you can watch him spruik next month’s trip down under in the video below.
