Bring Me The Horizon Donate $10K In Merch Sales To Help Pay The Ghost Inside’s Medical Bills, Following Horror Bus Crash

Bring Me The Horizon have donated $10,000 worth of merch sales to help pay for The Ghost Inside‘s medical expenses, after their former tour buddies were involved in a horrific fatal bus crash yesterday.

Two drivers died when the LA hardcore act’s tour bus collided with a semi trailer just east of El Paso, Texas, an accident which also left all 5 members of the band with serious injuries.

Since being rushed to hospital, The Ghost Inside’s bassist James Riley has since confirmed that he and his bandmates are all in a stable condition –

Bring Me The Horizon took to Facebook, posting a link to a GoFundMe campaign where they donated 10 large out of their own pocket to help fund the band’s doctor’s bills.

They’ve also urged fans to dig deep and do the same. Their post states:

Fellow UK act ARCHITECTS have also pledged $1,000 to the cause. You can donate to The Ghost Inside's Go Fund Me campaign here. At the time of writing, fans have raised almost $90,000 to help pay for their treatment and recovery. Meanwhile, the band have cancelled all of their scheduled US tour dates in the wake of the accident. They were scheduled to tour Australia next month as support for The Amity Affliction and A Day To Remember's Big Ass Tour, and at this point there's no word on whether those dates will still be going ahead. UPDATE 23/11/15: The Ghost Inside have shared an update on their continuing recovery, and have called for discretion as images of the fatal Texas bus crash circulate online.
