CanTeen Launches New Initiative That Will Give Young People Impacted By Cancer Special Access At Gigs & Festivals

CanTeen has announced a new initiative, called ‘Side Of Stage’, which will help young people affected by cancer to obtain special access to gigs and music festivals.

The initiative was actually conceived by Hilltop Hoods – who are about to release their new album The Great Expanse on Friday – and they also lead a long list of ambassadors, including Illy, Stella Donnelly, Montaigne, Thundamentals and more.

In a statement, HH said “Cancer is something that affects us all at some point in our lives, whether a personal struggle or someone close to us.”

“We seek to empower and give strength to the suffering.

Approximately 23,000 young Australians between the ages of 12-25 are affected by cancer every year. This ranges from cancer patients, having a loved one with cancer, or the death of a loved one from cancer.

‘Side of Stage’ is available to those between 12 – 25 years old. For more information, visit CanTeen’s official website.
