Bassinthegrass has announced its 2025 line-up, returning to Darwin’s Mindil Beach on Saturday, May 17th. The festival is set to be headlined by Hilltop Hoods, who recently announced their return with the new single ‘The Gift’ – which has its own ties to Darwin via its hook singer, Larrakia man Marlon. The full line-up, as well as ticketing information for the festival can be found below.
Joining the Hoods on the line-up will be The Amity Affliction, who will be playing one of their first Australian shows since the official departure of their bassist, clean vocalist and founding member Ahren Stringer. Dance producer (and Darwin native) Cyril will also perform, as will The Jungle Giants and ARIA-winning Indigenous hip-hop supergroup 3%. The festival is also set to feature three international acts heading to the NT on its 2025 line-up: UK tech-house duo Jaded, London-based DJ/producer Jax Jones and Nigerian singer-songwriter Kah-Lo.
Hilltop Hoods – ‘Exit Sign’
After having to cancel in 2020 due to COVID-19, Bassinthegrass returned the following year as one of the only music festivals to successfully run in Australia throughout all of 2021. It has returned every year since, with ast year’s line-up featuring performances from Macklemore, What So Not, Bliss N Eso, Jet and Bag Raiders.
