Chet Faker Shares New-ish Track ‘Killswitch’

Written by Nastassia Baroni on August 26, 2015

It’s been a while since our latest Chet Faker dose and Aussie fans now have a new-ish tune to keep them satiated while they wait for the follow up to his ARIA Award winning debut album Build On Glass.

Faker has today released Killswitch, a track which first appeared on the Japanese edition of Built on Glass, but hasn’t yet had an Australian release.

Earlier this year Faker also unveiled Bend, a track that was cut from the debut album at the final hour. Fans were also recently treated to super smooth remix of Built on Glass track 1998, featuring the sultry vocals of LA crooner BANKS.

All of this comes in the wake of Faker’s upcoming Australian Built On Live Tour, which will be his final shows in support of his debut record.

The tour will take in four massive east coast dates, including two at the Sydney Opera House, this October and November.

Faker today announced the stellar support acts who will accompany him on the road. They are Kiwi project Silicon, blog-turned vinly label-turned DJ Awesome Tapes Of Africa, LA-based, Australian newcomer Cleopold and Melbourne duo Otologic.

Have a listen to the new-ish track and catch those tour dates below.
