Chino Moreno’s other-other band ††† (Crosses) have firmed up details for their debut full-length offering. The record will follow on from a series of 2 EPs and is said to include all the fan-favourites from those two releases, with plenty of brand-new tracks.
For those of you who fell head over heels for Moreno’s previous side project, the Deftones-esque Palms, ††† is for sure going to be your thing. However, the three-piece outfit also containing Shaun Lopez of Far and Chuck Doom, showcasing a very different side of Moreno than we’ve previously seen.
Imagine Moreno less pissed-off at the world and far more in tune with it. What you’re picturing in your head is, in fact, †††. The man himself summed up his latest project as “minimal and soothing and it’s sort of like the stuff I like listening to when I’m not screaming my head off”.
The self-titled full-length is expected to drop during February of next year and will be a mix of 2011′s † and 2012′s †† with tracks such as the below B†tches Brew and the maiden single from the record †he Epilogue. Both worthy of the label ‘stop whatever the fuck you’re doing and listen’.
UPDATE: The band’s full-length self-titled debut is now due for release in Australia 14th February via Sumerian Records.
