Chris Martin’s Been Giving Noel Gallagher Advice On How To Repair His Relationship With Liam

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin‘s somewhat of an expert in conscious uncoupling so who better to give the feuding Gallagher brothers advice on how to repair their relationship than him?

According to Matt Whitecross (via NME), the director of the new Oasis documentary Supersonic, Noel Gallagher thinks Martin should, “should quit the music business and become a therapist.”

“Every week he goes ‘Look this is how you are going to patch up the band’,” he said, speaking at Festival No 6 in the UK as clips from the movie were premiered.

While it obviously hasn’t worked yet as the brothers still don’t talk, Whitecross is pretty sure that they will patch things up eventually.

“Neither of them have discounted the idea of getting back together. It will happen, I’m sure,” he said.

If the information Whitecross is relaying is correct it sounds like Noel is softening to the idea, even if it is just a tad.

“Noel said look no one knows like we know each other and it will happen when it happens but we can’t force it,” Whitecross added.

Three clips from the forthcoming documentary were premiered Festival No 6 and so far the footage seen from the film centres around their shaky relationship.

In a clip from the film, Noel says that their relationship is all about a “power struggle” because Liam can’t handle the fact that his brother is in charge and that people direct things towards him.

Liam’s got a much more specific reason for why Noel doesn’t like him.

“I think it all boils down to the fact that when he bought a stereo years ago and we shared a room, I think one night I’d come in pissed and I couldn’t find the light switch so I pissed all over his new stereo,” he says.

Good luck fixing this relationship, Chris.
