Seemingly capitalising on the hype that surrounded this year’s Coachella festival, which was sill raging in the Californian desert less than a month ago, organisers have already locked in the dates for the 2015 iteration of the festival, with pre-sales kicking off as early as this week.
Next year’s festivities are scheduled for April 10th through 12th, followed by the second weekend happening April 17th through 19th at Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California. General admission passes are priced at $375, while VIP passes will cost you $799.
Pre-sales kick off this Friday, May 16. Fans are still being afforded the option of purchasing tickets on a payment plan, making a 20 percent down payment in May and monthly payments through the year with the last payment due in December. Check out the festival’s website for more information.
The festival typically announces its lineup in January, three months ahead of the event, but that doesn’t mean that 2015 lineup speculation isn’t rampant. Rumoured 2015 contenders already include U2, Eminem, Jack White, Foo Fighters, and Coldplay. This year’s instalment featured Outkast, Muse and Arcade Fire, among more than 180 other acts.
