Confidence Man Share New Single ‘So What’

Confidence Man have released ‘So What’, the second single from their recently-announced third studio album 3AM (La La La). The group co-wrote the track with DMA’s guitarist Jonny Took, with production once again being handled by Reggie Goodchild (AKA keyboardist Lewis Stephenson) and Mark Ralph.

In a press statement, co-lead vocalist Grace Stephenson – AKA Janet Planet – described ‘So What’ as “the on-shoulders anthem you never knew you needed”. “It’s hard, it’s fast… it’s basically Muhammad Ali, and your ears are everyone he ever boxed,” she said. “They say it gets lonely at the top, so we made this banger to share the view.”

Confidence Man – ‘So What’

To coincide with the release of ‘So What’, the band have revealed a picture-disc vinyl edition of 3AM (La La La), which is available for pre-order exclusively via the group’s online merch store. The picture disc can be viewed and previewed via Arca Stores.

‘So What’ follows on from the release of lead single ‘I Can’t Lose You’ back in June. The month prior, Confidence Man had released the EP ConMan Club Classics Vol. 1, which contained several of the group’s 2023 collaborations and remixes – including ‘On & On (Again)’ with Daniel Avery and ‘Now U Do’ with DJ Seinfeld.

3AM (La La La) is set for release on Friday, October 18th via I OH YOU. Their national Australian tour kicks off the following week in Fremantle at Freo.Social on Thursday, October 24th, with five other dates to follow.
