Cosmo’s Midnight Drop Funky Tune ‘C.U.D.I. (Can U Dig It)’, Announce National Tour

Written by Laura English on March 1, 2019

Sydney, electro duo, Cosmo’s Midnight have dropped a new track, ‘C.U.D.I. (Can U Dig It)’, and we really can.

The pair of brothers have backed up their 2018 debut album, What Comes Next with another dance anthem. It’s full of synthy melodies, funky beats, and super catchy lyrics.

The new song came about after spending New Years Eve at the Last Dance warehouse party in Woollongong and recovering at the beach the following day.

“Exhausted and burnt we drove back to our studio space in Sydney that afternoon to sit on the balcony, drink San Pell and recover but ended up writing C.U.D.I (Can U Dig It),” said Cosmo and Pat.

“I had this idea running through my head on the trip back home and got it out then n there. Everything came together really quick and naturally, just me on the keys n cos jamming on the bass.

“We got the idea out and left it fresh cos [sic] we wanted to capture the midsummer feelings we were having over the new year.”

Along with the new track, they’ve thrown out an accompanying video showing overlaid shots of the pair having the summer you’d expect the song would soundtrack, watch it below.

Cosmo’s are taking the new track around the country in May with friends, Arno Faraji and Banoffee.
