Japanese rave metallers Crossfaith will be on Australian shores any moment now, and if you’re one of the few people who isn’t excited about this, then you seriously need to hear their new track, We Are The Future.
Coming in with a massive metalcore groove, Crossfaith manage to retain the fury as they inject elements of EDM. It’s a risky experiment leaving the band vulnerable to sounding really cheesy but We Are The Future demonstrates just how good it is when the band gets the levels exactly right. Though they appear to be well dressed, clean cut gentlemen there is nothing soft about the way these dudes get down.
The track will be featured on the band’s upcoming album Apocalyze, which was produced by Machine (Lamb of God, Every Time I Die, Four Year Strong). Machine and Crossfaith made sweet music previously on the band’s EP Zion, so if you’re a fan of that, you’re in for ride. Apocalyze will be out in Australia Friday, 16th August.
The band were here not too long ago as part of Soundwave 2013 and will be returning once more with their peers Bring Me The Horizon and Of Mice & Men this coming October.
