Daniel Johns Hospitalised After Fall In Sydney

Daniel Johns was reportedly admitted to a Sydney hospital last night after falling and injuring his head outside a Sydney bar.

Reports Fairfax, Johns was outside a bar in Surry Hills at around 10pm late night when he tripped and hit his head on concrete. He was reportedly taken to Sydney’s St Vincent’s Hospital in a neck brace, with minor injuries and was released this morning.

St Vincent’s Hospital spokesman David Faktor said Johns was “treated and discharged in a satisfactory condition” and didn’t comment further on his injuries.

Johns has not commented on the reports but a photo was posted to his official Facebook page this morning of Johns in the studio with producer M-PHAZES. It is unclear when the photo was taken.

The Silverchair frontman pleaded guilty to mid-range drink driving in a Newcastle court earlier this year, after being pulled stopped by police while driving above the speed limit in his home suburb of Merewether in October and registering a blood alcohol level of 0.126.

Daniel Johns’ debut solo album Talk is set to be released on May 22nd, and he is said to debut the album live with two special shows at the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall on May 28th and 29th as part of Vivid LIVE.
