Daryl Braithwaite, Tim Minchin, Ben Folds & More To Play ABC Sydney New Year’s Eve Concert

The ABC has revealed the likes of Daryl Braithwaite, Tim Minchin, Ben Folds and Christine Anu will perform at a special concert in Sydney this New Year’s Eve.

The concert — hosted by Zan Rowe and Charlie Pickering, and broadcast on the — will take place at the Sydney Opera House from 9:30pm on New Year’s Eve, and will also feature performances from The Preatures’ Isabella Manfredi, Daddy Cool’s Ross Wilson, Client Liaison, Casey Donovan, Indigenous rapper Baker Boy, soul singer Kaiit and triple j favourite G Flip.

The performers will be showcasing some their “favourite songs”, while also “singing songs from a party playlist that’s been voted for by the Australian public”, the ABC says.

Some still-to-be-announced special guests will also take to the stage, before Sydney’s huge midnight fireworks display covers the harbour in colour.
