Iconic alt metal band Deftones have finally revealed the all-important title of their forthcoming ninth studio album, through a series of cryptic videos.
The band posted videos on social media of some previously released tracks, and it turns out that the beginning letter of each of the four tracks spelled out the album’s title – Ohms.
The title was officially revealed following the fourth and final track posted, ‘Street Carp’ from their 2000 album White Pony.
This revelation, according to Consequence Of Sound, comes shortly after frontman Chino Moreno accidentally shared the album’s title in an interview with The PRP.
Ohms, allegedly set for a tentative release on Friday, 25th September, will be the album’s first album since 2016’s Gore.
Check out the band’s latest teaser, which is a video showing some co-ordinates, below.
