Disclosure Drop New Track ‘Bang That’

Disclosure are back guys. It’s been about two years since we’ve heard any original solo material from the UK brothers, but that’s all changed now with the club-ready, deep house, descriptively titled banger, Bang That.

“As work speedily progresses on our next record, we wanted to give you guys something for the summer,” wrote the boys. “Been playing this one in our DJ sets for a while now and couldn’t resist putting it up! Hope you enjoy… So much more on the way!”

With all the remixes and collaborations they’ve dropped over the last two years, like that one with Mary J Blige and Sam Smith and the other with UK producer Friend Within, you’d be forgiven for not realising this is the first new piece of original Disclosure music since 2013.

The song is reportedly built around a vocal sample of 313 Bass Mechanic’s Pass Out, and has been part of Disclosure’s DJ sets since late 2014. Bang That premiered on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio One show where Disclosure confirmed their new album will be out sometime in 2015.

“I think we just want to tell everyone we’re really excited about it,” Disclosure’s Guy told Mac, as reported by Mix Mag. “But the reason we wanted to put this one up is because we don’t want people to forget where we came from. This is a big club track in time for the summer.”

Seasons be damned. Pretend it’s summer and listen below.
