Progressive rock icons Dream Theater have announced their return to Australia for two huge shows this September.
Previously down under in 2014, Dream Theater will now play shows in Sydney and Melbourne later this year, with their latest album The Astonishing and their current lineup — John Petrucci (guitar), John Myung (bass), James LaBrie (vocals), Jordan Rudess (keyboard) and Mike Mangini (drums) — in tow.
Meanwhile, the band’s former drummer Mike Portnoy is bringing his ‘Shattered Fortress’ tour to Australia in November, which will see him and his band play a few Dream Theater classics.
