Dune Rats’ New Tune Is Here & Triple J Fans Are Already Backing It For The Hottest 100

Dune Rats have returned with their first fresh slice of tune pie since 2017’s The Kids Will Know It’s Bullshit LP and it’s less stoner rock than what we’re used to.

Dubbed ‘No Plans’, the cheeky Aussie-inflected pop-punk anthem was produced by Violent Soho’s James Tidswell.

It premiered on triple J this morning, sending the textline into a tizz, with punters en masse proclaiming it an early contender for the Hottest 100 of 2019.

“Already #1 on my Hottest 100 list,” one dude texted in. “Massive Blink vibes! Rocking my Dunies merch today for sure with pride today!”

“This new Dunies is bigger then the 3 meter flatty I caught last night,” another punter from the Cenny Coast added.

Speaking with the J‘s resident brekky boys Ben & Liam, the Dunies confirmed that album number 3 is also in the BAG.

“11/10, maybe 12/10” said Danny and B.C. when asked about how they were feeling about the band’s next chapter.

Bring. it. awn.
