DZ Deathrays, Stand Atlantic and some of the country’s other favourite rock acts will all be streaming sets this Friday night for Amazon Music Australia.
In an event, titled ‘Rock Scene Presents’, created in conjunction with Sounds Australia, the live-stream event has been organised to help give local heavy music acts an international push (the event will also be streaming in the UK).
Alongside DZ Deathrays and Stand Atlantic, other bands that will be playing as part of the event include Yours Truly, The Deadlove and Waxflower.
The bands will be performing from an array of locations around the country, including Brisbane venues like The Triffid and The Zoo and Sydney venue Max Watt’s, as well as less conventional venues like Wollongong’s 3sixty skate park and Sydney’s Hayden Orpheum cinema.
“When we were invited by Amazon to be a part of the livestream we really wanted to offer something special and take
the show to the next level,” Stand Atlantic’s Bonnie Fraser said in a press statement.
“We are so psyched to light this baby up.”
The event will kick off at 6pm AEST tomorrow night (Friday, 28th May) and will be available to watch via the Amazon Music app or on Twitch (channel @amazonmusicuk).
