Members Of Tonight Alive, Stand Atlantic & More To Link Up For Crowbar Fundraiser

Like almost all live music venues around the country, Sydney’s Crowbar has faced financial challenges in the past year unlike any they have before. But, in an effort to raise money for the venue, a bunch of bands are linking up for a very special event.

The Crowbar ‘Mega Jam Party’ Fundraiser will take place next Saturday night (5th June) and will an absolutely colossal lineup of members from some of your fave bands rally together in an effort to save the venue.

We’re talking members of Tonight Alive, Stand Atlantic, Yours Truly, Forever Ends Here, RedHook, The Deadlove, Fangz, Down For Tomorrow and many more.

Emmy Mack, RedHook member and UsFest founder, organised the event after rallying many of her performer friends to get behind the cause.

“It’s nuts that Crowbar had to resort to crowdfunding donations and auctioning off priceless pieces of rock memorabilia just to keep the lights on during this pandemic,” Mack said.

“But the fact that they smashed their fundraising target is testament to the strength and resilience of Sydney’s heavy music community. Still, we’re not taking any chances. We’re already losing Frankie’s Pizza to a metro train station and we’ll be damned if we’re gonna lose the Crowie as well.”

Of course, earlier this month it was revealed that beloved venue Frankie’s Pizza would be demolished next year to make way for a new metro train station in Sydney’s CBD.

Tickets for the event are on sale now. Check out the massive full lineup below.
