Ed Sheeran Makes His Debut As ‘Annie’ On ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

Watching certain classic films, one can’t escape the feeling that some actors were just born to play a part. Bogart was tailor-made for the role of Philip Marlowe, The Joker was the character Heath Ledger was always meant to play, and Ed Sheeran was put on this earth to play the role of little orphan Annie.

After US television network NBC announced that they were planning a televised production of the Peter Pan musical starring actress Allison Williams, Jimmy Kimmel was lucky enough to be granted some time with the star of rival network ABC’s upcoming production of Annie, as readers can now see below.

Donning Annie’s classic red dress and dragging around a stuffed dog on a skateboard might not be the silliest position the UK singer-songwriter has been put in in recent months. Sheeran was at the centre of controversy last month after a BBC Radio poll dubbed him the most important figure in black music.
