Escape The Fate’s Max Green Joins Ronnie Radke In Falling In Reverse

The revolving door position that is bassist for Falling In Reverse has once again been filled, seeing renown flaky dude and founding Escape The Fate member Max Green shacking up with his former frontman Ronnie Radke once more.

Radke announced the news today, backing his decision to give now former FIR bassist Ron Ficarro the flick. Ficarro is the latest to add his bones to the pile of former FIR band members given the disproportionately high turnover. Says Radke of the bands new addition:

“Ron was probably the best bass player I’ve ever played with. but at this moment in time I feel it is best to part ways with him. I respect him and wish nothing but the best for him. Max quitting Escape The Fate was like a godsend. It was a no brainer to have him join. I’ve known him half my life and this will be a great new chapter to start.”

The news will come as a mega head-fuck for long-term fans of both bands who have watched the roller coaster ride that is the Radke-Green relationship, which, following Radke’s departure from ETF, was left in tatters until the pair very publicly reunited having both found sobriety. Green announced he would be parting ways with ETF earlier in the week, making this the second time he’s done so.

Speaking of the news, Green tells Alt Press, “Reuniting with long time friend Ronnie Radke in his band Falling In Reverse feels nothing but right at this time in my life. I look to forward to playing shows and creating memories together again with him and his amazing band of bros.”

Back in 2004, the pair founded Escape The Fate, a band which went on to become a generation defining outfit which eventually imploded following Radke’s incarceration.

The bands recently toured North America together under the *cough*wanky*cough* Bury The Hatchet Tour banner, and there’s been murmurings for some time that both may reteam for a tour Down Under. We’ll just wait and see how this all plays out first though.
