Two of the world’s most fiercely political bands, Rage Against The Machine and Run The Jewels, have collided in an insane new 15-minute mashup.
Created by DJ Skarface, the marathon mixtape smashes together beats and samples from both groups, as well as putting RATM frontman Zach de la Rocha’s vocals over Run The Jewels’ beats and vice versa.
The mash also comes bearing the seal of approval from one half of Run The Jewels, El-P, who commented simply on Twitt: “Oh shit”.
The mashup comes after the two rap-fuelled groups were supposed to tour across the USA together, with RTJ supporting Rage on their Public Service Announcement reunion tour, which has sadly now been postponed til 2021.
With a bit of luck, we’ll see it come to Australia!
