Nu-metal giants Korn have unveiled another clip from their new documentary, Reconciliation, which documents the recording of the band’s 11th studio album The Paradigm Shift and their reunion with guitarist Brian ‘Head’ Welch.
This is the fourth such clip to be released from Reconciliation, which features talking-head interviews with band members as well as footage of the band in the studio and will be included as part of the Deluxe Edition of The Paradigm Shift, released in Australia today.
In the new clip, exclusive to Music Feeds, bassist Reggie ‘Fieldy’ Arvizu describes rediscovering his signature sound, which he says he’d lost over years of playing. The video also features snippets of The Paradigm Shift songs Mass Hysteria and Punishment Time, as well as tracks Mudslide and Kage which aren’t included on the album’s tracklist.
Besides giving fans a taste of what to expect from the new album, Reconciliation depicts the return of the band’s old dynamic. Drummer Ray Luzier in particular expressed delight at Welch’s return, lauding the call-and-response guitar work between Welch and James ‘Munky’ Shaffer.
The Paradigm Shift is out now, and you can pick it up here. The band will be following up the new album with live dates in Australia early next year, touring as part of Soundwave 2014.
