Face The Music Announces First Round Of Speakers For 2016

Contemporary music summit and place where miracles can happen, Face The Music, has announced the first batch of music industry pros set to bestow their wisdom upon thee this November.

Leading the charge is Anthony Fantano, the man behind the taste-making blog and YouTube channel The Needle Drop, as well as the world’s self-described “busiest music nerd”. Triple j‘s all-knowing Zan Rowe will also be speaking as will Nai Palm, solo musician and vocalist for one of Australia’s most successful musical exports in recent memories, Hiatus Kaiyote.

Rising star, trusted voice of the millennials and known combatant of rogue rappers, Nic Kelly, will be speaking about his latest venture Night High Records, and Woody McDonald from Meredith Music Festival will be giving some insight into his experiences.

This year’s Face The Music is promising to be fairly different to years past. The conference will be bringing its live speakers together with live music for the first year ever, resulting in an entirely new dynamic for all involved.

You can check out the full list of the first speaker lineup alongside date and ticket details below, and brace yourself for more to be announced.

UPDATE 20/09/16: Zola Jesus, Tkay Maidza, Briggs and more have been added to the speaker lineup.
