Sydney-siders are spoiled for choice when deciding where their festival-allotted cash goes, with the announcement that famed party crew FACT will be bringing a new EDM festival to Cockatoo Island. The event, titled FACT Weekender, will mirror the crew’s parties in Ibiza and NYC.
FACT Weekender is slated for 1st-2nd February 2014, to take place on Cockatoo Island, which will be settled with patented “glamping” (glamorous camping) facilities, including mattresses, bedding, sun lounges and Eskies, a colonial dress theme and “over 50 of the best international and Australian DJs,” as reported by InTheMix.
The first lineup announcement is scheduled for Wednesday, 13th November, with the promise of world-renowned names. FACT events are known for the quality of their lineups, with past events featuring Derrick Carter, Miss Kittin, Pete Tong, and Steve Lawler.
