Las Vegas outfits Falling In Reverse and Escape The Fate will be joining forces to bring two Bury The Hatchet Sidewaves to Melbourne and Sydney this February, along with with special guests The Color Morale.
The hardcore outfits will bring their Bury The Hatchet show to Melbourne’s 170 Russell on Wednesday 25th February, followed by a show at The Hi-Fi in Sydney on Friday 27th February.
Falling In Reverse and Escape The Fate have been taking their aptly named Bury The Hatchet tour across North America the past year as a symbol of the end of animosity between the two bands which began when singer Ronnie Radke, now of Falling in Reverse, was ousted from his post as Escape The Fate frontman and replaced by bandmate Craig Mabbitt. Those wounds seems to be healed now.
The shows come just days after Falling In Reverse reveal their third full-length record, Just Like You , set for release on February 20th. Following a tumultuous nine-year career, Craig Mabbitt of Escape The Fate recently told Music Feeds he is excited to be able to bring the latest, “most close-knit” incarnation of Escape The Fate down under for the 2015 edition of the Soundwave.
“I love Australia, and I love the festival, but I’m even more excited than usual because the band is just getting along so well at the moment,” he says. “I can’t wait to get down under and show them what Australia is all about.”
