Falls Festival 2012/2013 tickets for the Lorne event have now sold out, after tickets went on sale at 9am this morning. Tickets for Marion Bay are still on sale, but if it’s anything like last year, it will also sell out quickly.
For those who are interested, the Marion Bay event shares the exact same lineup apart from Willis Earl Beal (note: the lineup is still being revealed) but has a cheaper ticket price to help with the extra travel costs.
So far we’ve had three announcements, with acts such as Two Door Cinema Club, The Hives, Beach House, Best Coast, Hot Chip, Maximo Park and the band everyone should experience at least once in their musical life, The Flaming Lips. It’s no wonder it sold out so fast!
The final list of bands should total around 80 acts, but will also feature the Boogie Night and Arts programme, which offers an extra night of boogying before the event officially starts, along with The Village, which gives festivalgoers morning yoga sessions, samba classes, circus workshops, puppetry, burlesque and comedy acts for something a little different to do while you’re there.
