The lineup for Falls Festival 2022/23 is heaving with local and international acts, including Arctic Monkeys, Lil Nas X, Ocean Alley and Spacey Jane. Now, the OG Wiggles have been added to all three 2022/23 Falls Festival events.
The OG Wiggles’ recruitment will help Lil Nas X come good on his desire to tour with the globally adored children’s group. After announcing his debut tour, Long Live Montero, last week, Lil Nas X tweeted, “trying really hard to get the wiggles to coheadline the tour with me. i will keep you guys updated.”
The Wiggles responded in turn, with OG member Anthony Field tweeting “The Big Red Car is packed and ready mate! Let’s Wiggle!”
For its return after two years of cancellations, Falls is hosting New Year’s events in Birregurra, Victoria, and Byron Bay, NSW, before heading to Fremantle in the first week of January. Falls punters will already be familiar with the Byron and Freo festival grounds. However, the Victorian event is happening at Pennyroyal Plains, approximately 50 kilometres inland from Falls’ long-time home in Lorne.
