The already bulging lineup for Falls Festival 2015/2016 has grown once again, with organisers announcing today that seven more massive acts will be making their way to Tasmania for the Marion Bay leg of the festival.
Josh Pyke, Ash Grunwald, Bag Raiders, Tiger Choir, Ben Walsh, Chicada and 18-year-old JB Seed winner Jesse Davidson will join previously announced acts Foals, Bloc Party, Disclosure, Hilltop Hoods, Courtney Barnett on the monster bill.
And that’s not all, organisers have also announced the groundbreaking addition of a new Music Tasmania Homebrew Stage, which will feature a showcase of local artists performing live across 29th December 2015 – 1st January at Falls, Marion Bay.
According to organisers, the Tassie event’s lineup expansion is the celebratory result of Falls Festival’s recent win at the Tasmanian Tourism Awards in the Major Festivals and Events category.
It’s the second year in a row that the festival has taken out the gong, recognising its commitment to bolstering Tasmanian travel and local music culture.
Today’s news comes shortly after the grand unveiling of the “clash-free” set times for Falls 2015/2016, with the new lineup additions sure to fill in some of the blanks in the Marion Bay program.

UPDATE 22/12/15: “Weird Al” Yankovic has cancelled his scheduled appearance at the Marion Bay leg of Falls Festival, citing “unforeseen logistical difficulties”.
